Combined expertise
Science can better tackle many of the global challenges of our time by working together. At the same time, people in science need a good environment in which they can further develop and implement their approaches. The realization of an excellent, internationally flourishing scientific landscape on the Rhine with a global orientation and perspective is the common perspective in BORA.

Bonn: defining profiles
The science location Bonn is known for a number of topics for which there are relevant topic hubs. BORA members and the University of Bonn are involved in these profile areas in a variety of ways.
Sustainability Hub
Bonn has become a center for global issues of the future, an international sustainability hub with the United Nations at its heart in the federal city.
There is also a regional sustainability hub, the Bonn Region, which has set itself the goal of supporting companies in the region in the implementation of sustainable business models and providing advice on the transformation.
Cyber Security Hub
The Cyber Security Cluster Bonn promotes cyber security through cooperation and knowledge transfer. Business, politics and research combine their unique expertise here.
DigitalHub Bonn
The DigitalHub Bonn aims to support founders of start-ups with digital products and business models, promote digital transformation in commercial enterprises, facilitate the transfer of expertise between science, business, research and start-ups and network stakeholders at regional, national and international level.

Questions?
I take care of the development and expansion of network structures and am in close dialog with the BORA member institutions. Concerns about cooperation, processes between institutions and project initiatives are in good hands with me.
