5th Roundtable Forced Migration Studies
This roundtable brings together experts to discuss responsibility and accountability in (forced) migration studies. It addresses ethical challenges such as data sensitivity, research ethics, and the safety of both researchers and affected communities. In light of the increasing politicization of migration, the event explores how responsibility can be understood and practiced at individual and institutional levels. A short input will be followed by a moderated panel and open exchange on current dilemmas in displacement and migration research.
Hosted by the Bonn Platform for Forced Migration Studies – organized by FIW, BORA, bicc, FFVT and BIM e.V. – the roundtable fosters interdisciplinary dialogue between academia and practice.
