We would like to make use of the neighborhood in the Bonn Research Alliance (BORA) and invite you to a collegial exchange in the field of diversity and equal opportunities. This is aimed at colleagues from management, administration and research who are concerned with all aspects of diversity and equal opportunities in the structures, processes and actions of scientific institutions.

The institutions that come together in BORA are structured and set up very differently, and this also applies to the area of diversity and equal opportunities. There may be individual colleagues who take on certain tasks, small teams or large areas that offer a wide range of advice and support services for colleagues.

At the same time, these areas are probably working towards similar goals and are confronted with comparable needs and concerns.

The aim of the collegial exchange is

-          to get to know each other,

-          to gain an insight into how the above-mentioned areas are set up in the various institutions,

-          to discuss which goals are pursued in which processes,

-          to discuss who offers which services and which services can also be used by other institutions,

-          exchange information about current challenges and give tips,

-          to know who is on the other end of the phone if you need advice in everyday life.

All those who would like to participate can register in this appointment planner until April 10, 2024.

The event will take place on June 13, 2-4pm at the Rectorate of the University of Bonn.

We look forward to the exchange!
