 ition “We are the Anthropocene - The Horror and Beauty of Global Change
 ” at the University Museum Bonn.\n\nThe photo exhibition by the ethnolog
 ist and geologist will be on display until March 1\, 2026: Today\, there i
 s no place on earth that has not been touched by humans. Man-made change g
 oes far beyond climate change. It also affects soils\, oceans\, plants\, a
 nimals\, and geochemical cycles. In short\, we humans have become a signif
 icant geological factor. Our actions today will have repercussions far int
 o the geological future. That is why we talk about a new geological epoch\
 , the “Anthropocene.” According to current research\, this new epoch b
